At the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, an attempt to smuggle cattle has been thwarted

Several attempts to illegally export cattle have been prevented at the Kyrgyz-Tajik border. This was reported by the Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic.

In the Leilek area, a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle was detained, which contained two citizens of Kyrgyzstan and 12 heads of cattle lacking the necessary documents. In the Batken region, 12 unowned animals were found that were being prepared for smuggling.

Additionally, in the Leilek region, a citizen was detained who attempted to transport 14 heads of cattle, and there was also an attempt to export one bull using a cargo motor scooter "Muravey." Three unidentified individuals also attempted to smuggle two animals across the border but abandoned the cattle and fled upon being apprehended.

A total of 41 cows were detained. All detained individuals and the confiscated cattle have been handed over to the units of the State Border Service of the Kyrgyz Republic for further investigation and processing in accordance with current legislation.
