Several attempts to illegally transport cattle outside established checkpoints have been recorded at the border between Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as reported by the Border Service of Kyrgyzstan.

In particular, in the Leylek area, in the territory of the Jany-Jer rural administration, border guards stopped a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vehicle, driven by Kyrgyz citizens B.U.S. (born in 1988) and B.U.K. (born in 1989). During the inspection, 12 heads of cattle were found in the cargo compartment, which lacked the necessary veterinary and accompanying documents.

Additionally, in the Karim-Bak area of the Batken region, 12 unclaimed heads of cattle were found, ready for illegal transport across the border.

Later, in the Internatsional area of the Leylek district, a border patrol detained J.Ch.S. (born in 1989), who was attempting to drive 14 heads of cattle around official checkpoints. These actions were classified as a cross-border violation.

Moreover, in the Sada area of the Leylek district, an attempt to illegally export a bull using a cargo scooter "Muravey" was thwarted. In this case, J. uulu O. (born in 1995) and J.T. (born in 1990) were detained.

As a result of further operational actions, border guards identified three unknown individuals who were attempting to illegally transport two heads of cattle. Upon attempting to detain them, the offenders abandoned the animals and fled into the territory of a neighboring state.

The total number of detained cattle amounted to 41 heads, which were apparently intended for illegal transport across the border.

The detained individuals and the confiscated cattle were sent to the units of the State Border Service for further investigation and processing in accordance with current legislation.

The record "Several attempts to illegally drive cattle from Kyrgyzstan to Tajikistan were thwarted" was first published on the K-News website.
