According to preliminary information, the incident occurred on January 12, 2026, around 5:00 PM on the 139 km of the Osh–Batken–Razakov highway, near the village of Kyzyl-Zhol in the city of Batken.
According to the Traffic Safety Department of the Batken Regional Internal Affairs Directorate, the driver of the "KIA K3," B.B.B., born in 2008, crossed into the oncoming lane while traveling from west to east and collided with the minibus "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 316," which was driven by D.A.K., born in 1975. The minibus was carrying out scheduled transportation at that time.
As a result of the accident, the driver of the "KIA K3" was injured, as well as two passengers of the "Mercedes-Benz Sprinter" minibus.
