The detention occurred on the Kyrgyz side, just 40 meters from the state border. T.M. was caught at the moment he was attempting to smuggle livestock into the neighboring country.
Additionally, on November 19, 2025, in the area of responsibility of the border post "Kairagach" of the Leilek Border Detachment, in the vicinity of the Kuruq-Sai area, unclaimed horses were found.
At 02:30, at a distance of 150–200 meters from the border, on the territory of Kyrgyzstan, border guards discovered four horses (one mare and three foals) that were unattended. Considering the possibility of their use in illegal activities, the animals were detained and handed over to the police.
A necessary package of documents was prepared for both cases, a citizen of Kyrgyzstan was detained, and the seized animals were transferred to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
