According to the director of the State Nature Park "Karakol," Kanybek Kamalov, the video was filmed by a ranger two days ago on the banks of the Karakol River. "The nature park is home to many animals listed in the Red Book. About 20 snow leopards live here, although their exact number has not yet been determined. Additionally, we have a large number of bears. This year, a deer appeared in our territory, which was not present here before. There are also argalis, mountain goats, and marals. All conditions have been created to ensure that these animals feel safe, reproduce, and are under strict control of the foresters," Kamalov said.
The total area of the Karakol Nature Park is 38,250 hectares.
The State Nature Park "Karakol" is located in the southwestern part of the Ak-Suu administrative district of the Issyk-Kul region. It borders the Ak-Suu Forestry to the east, the Jeti-Oguz Forestry to the west, state land reserves to the south, and the Ak-Suu Experimental Breeding Station to the north.
