- Erniss, tell us about yourself and your path to acting?- I was born in 1994 in the village of Orto-Aryk, located in the Talas region. After graduating from school in 2012, I enrolled in the Bishkek State University of Arts named after B. Beishenaliev in the theater faculty, which I completed in 2018. After that, I came to work at the puppet theater.
- How do you envision your Santa Claus?- I see Santa Claus as a wise and serious elder. However, the approaches to performances differ. At corporate events, he is a more entertaining character, while in the theater, it’s different: here, individual attention to each child is necessary.
- I’ve heard that modern children are different from those in the past. What is your perspective on this?- I don’t notice any significant difference. Modern children, like those before, dream; it’s just that their desires have changed a bit. Previously, letters often requested dolls and toys, while today, gadgets have been added. Older colleagues sometimes say that children have different interests, but I don’t see any substantial changes.
- What are your plans for the New Year? How do you intend to celebrate it?- The New Year for me begins on December 15 and lasts until the 31st. During this time, I work in the image of Santa Claus, spending every day on performances and New Year’s parties, meeting with children. After December 31, I just want to relax in silence and peace.
