“Heavy snowfall has led to the suspension of transport movement in the Toluk rural district at the winter pastures of Jara-Ötök, Sharkyritma, Jampa, Örgö, Tönchü, Kyzyl-Kyrchyn, Temirken, Cholok, Tatyr, Kabylen, Kara-Küngöy, Tartma. As a result, it became impossible to graze livestock. Consequently, information was received about 26 citizens from 13 households who were stranded along with their livestock at the wintering sites,” the statement said.
To evacuate these people on December 22, when it became impossible to reach the location by vehicle, 50 individuals were sent on horseback. As a result of the measures taken, by 6:00 PM the same day, 9 people from 4 households and 2,194 heads of livestock were successfully delivered to the village.
Currently, it is known that livestock from another 3 households is on the way. The reasons for the refusal of owners from 6 households to leave the wintering sites are being investigated,” the administration added.
Additionally, to clear the internal roads of the Toluk rural district and the roads connecting the villages, 3 units of machinery were involved: 2 from the road maintenance enterprise No. 23 and one provided by the village council on a contractual basis.
