According to the administration of the Botanical Garden, the Presidential Administration has started implementing a project to create two football fields, which will be located to the left of the main entrance, along 7 April Street. It is noted that the selected area is characterized by rocky soil and a lack of water, which hindered the preservation of green spaces.
As part of this project, the construction of public infrastructure is also planned. An amphitheater, conference hall, children's playground, and workout area are set to be built. Additionally, cycling and running tracks will be arranged, as well as a special walking path with a soft surface.
Furthermore, work is underway to implement a drip irrigation system throughout the Botanical Garden. Currently, information about the timeline for the completion of the project and its funding remains unknown.
