World Boxing Championship. Two Kyrgyzstanis reached the semifinals

At the World Boxing Championship taking place in Dubai, two representatives from Kyrgyzstan have reached the semifinals. This was reported by the country's boxing federation.

Omar Livaza (up to 63.5 kg) and Ikhtiyar Nishonov (up to 71 kg) successfully advanced to the 1/2 final stage.

Ikhtiyar Nishonov won against boxers from Australia and Thailand, and then defeated a representative from Moldova. In the semifinals, he will face Kazakhstani boxer Aiblaykhan Jussupov.

Omar Livaza, for his part, achieved victories over boxers from Uzbekistan, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. Now he is set to meet Emmanuel Katema from Zambia in the semifinals.

The fights will start at 23:00 Bishkek time.
