World Championship: Three Kyrgyzstan athletes lost in the Round of 16. Results

At the World Boxing Championship taking place in the United Arab Emirates, the 1/8 finals concluded on December 9.

On this day, five boxers from Kyrgyzstan entered the ring.

Two athletes, Omar Livaza (in the weight category up to 63.5 kg) and Ikhtiyar Nishonov (up to 71 kg), managed to secure victories and advance to the quarterfinals.

Unfortunately, the other three Kyrgyzstani boxers were unable to successfully complete their bouts and were eliminated from the medal race.

A total of 11 boxers from Kyrgyzstan competed in the 1/8 finals, of which only three reached the quarterfinal stage.

Sanjay Seydakmatov - Vyacheslav Rogozin (Russia) — 0:5

Weight category up to 85 kg:

1/8 finals:

Erkin Adylbek uulu - Georgiy Kushitashvili (Georgia) — victory for Kushitashvili in the first round due to the opponent's injury.
