IBA World Championship: Syrgak Abdyjapar Uulu Lost in the Round of 16

The Kyrgyzstan boxing team has suffered its first loss at the World Championship taking place in the United Arab Emirates.

This tournament, organized by the IBA, is currently being held in Dubai.

Syrgak Abdyjapar uulu represented the country in the 75 kg weight category.

His journey in the tournament began in the 1/32 finals, where his opponent was unable to meet the weight requirements and did not enter the ring, allowing the Kyrgyzstani to advance without a fight.

However, in the 1/16 finals, he faced an Uzbek boxer. After three rounds, the judges' decision was in favor of the representative from Uzbekistan.

This defeat became the first for the Kyrgyz team in the current championship.
