10 Kyrgyzstani citizens were unable to go to the World Championship in the UAE due to visa issues

Ten members of the Kyrgyzstan boxing team were unable to travel to the United Arab Emirates to participate in the World Championship due to visa difficulties, the Boxing Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic reported, as conveyed by Sport AKIpress.

The boxing competitions organized by IBA will take place in Dubai from December 3 to 13.

The Boxing Federation of the KR confirmed that a total of 13 visa applications were submitted. All necessary documents for our team were provided to the organizers of the World Championship. However, only three — two athletes and one coach — managed to obtain visas, while the remaining ten applications were rejected, the federation specified.

In addition, a similar situation is observed with representatives from 46 other countries participating in the tournament.

The visas were obtained by Omar Livaza (category up to 63.5 kg), Almaz Orozbekov (category up to 67 kg), and the head coach of the team Daniyar Tölögön uulu.

Unfortunately, visas could not be obtained for Anvarzhan Khojieva (up to 48 kg), Mirlan Turkbai uulu (up to 51 kg), Sanjay Seydakmatov (up to 54 kg), Ryspek Bektenov (up to 60 kg), Ikhtiyar Nishonov (up to 71 kg), Syrgak Abdyjapar uulu (up to 75 kg), Omurbek Bekzhigit uulu (up to 80 kg), Erkin Adylbek uulu (up to 85 kg), Bakyt Toktosun uulu (up to 92 kg), and Myrzakir Koşaliyev (over 92 kg).
