On the fifth day of the World Boxing Championship taking place in the UAE, five representatives of Kyrgyzstan exited the competition.

On December 8, six Kyrgyz athletes entered the ring.

Myrzakir Koshaliev achieved victory over his opponent from New Zealand, allowing him to advance to the quarterfinals, while the other participants concluded their performances in the tournament.

Previously, in the 1/16 finals, Syrgak Abdyjapar uulu suffered a defeat.
