According to the information provided by the city hall, the dismantling of the railway track will be carried out by the southern division of the state enterprise "National Company 'Kyrgyz Temir Zholu'" on the section from the 406th to the 421st kilometer, which runs between Jalal-Abad and Kok-Jangak. The work is being conducted based on the directive from the Ministry of Transport and Communications.
It should be noted that train traffic on this section was halted back in 1998, and since then, the railway has not been used. The length of the abandoned track is 15.4 kilometers.
The work will cover the section from Bayzakov Avenue in Manas to Ormon Biy Street in the village of Oktyabr.
The completion of the dismantling is scheduled for February 1.
