Starting January 1, 2026, traffic will be temporarily restricted on a section of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue in Bishkek, located between Semetey and A. Masaliev streets. This information was provided by the press service of the city administration.
The reason for the restrictions is the construction of underground pedestrian crossings and bus stop complexes. This decision was made at the request of Bishkek Mayor Aibek Junushaliev and coincides with the start of the holiday weekend.
The city administration emphasized that the temporary closure of this section of the road is aimed at ensuring the safety of both residents and guests of the capital during the construction work.
Citizens are advised to plan their routes in advance, taking the new restrictions into account.
