On November 24, a section of the road from Isa Akhunbaev Street to Absamat Masaliev Avenue was opened for vehicle traffic. According to residents, there used to be several pedestrian crossings in this section, but they disappeared as a result of the construction work. Now, to cross the road, pedestrians have to walk to the "zebra" at the intersection with Akhunbaev Street or to the "Adinay" park at the other end of the road. However, many are unable to walk such a distance and are forced to take risks by running across the road.
The city hall noted that issues related to the reconstruction of Aitmatov Avenue should be addressed to the Presidential Administration. In turn, they stated that these issues fall under the jurisdiction of the city hall.
It should be noted that residents of the houses located between the state residence and Masaliev Avenue still do not have safe conditions for crossing the road.
The under-construction underground passage is located near the "Ak-Keme" hotel and will be the only way to cross the road for about 3.5 km from the "Intymak Ordo" residence to Akhunbaev Street.
