Residents are concerned that this shape may lead to a worsening of the traffic situation at one of the busiest intersections in the capital. In the comments under the posts, people write that "traffic in this area is already difficult," and the new profile of the roadway "can only exacerbate the situation."
So far, there have been no official comments from the city hall or road services regarding this matter.
It is worth noting that the reconstruction is being carried out as part of the "Old Bishkek" project. It was previously reported that traffic on Chuy Avenue is planned to be opened by December 1.
