Vice Mayor Azamat Kadyrov reported that the Bishkek city administration intends to offer residents of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue alternative land plots in the "Kok-Jar" area. "The state has other plots that are not subject to disputes and conflicts," he noted. In the event of refusal of these plots and a demand for monetary compensation, the amount of payments will be calculated based on the cadastral value. "There is a special formula for real estate valuation," the vice mayor added.

It is worth reminding that in May, the city administration carried out the demolition of several buildings on Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and seized land plots for road expansion. The authorities offered compensation in the form of land in "Kok-Jar" to the owners, but this option turned out to be unacceptable for the residents. It should be noted that the land plots offered in exchange are listed in the "green book" and are still in the process of disputes with previous owners. Moreover, the market price of these plots is significantly lower than the value of the plots on Aitmatov Avenue.

The residents of Aitmatov Avenue rejected the proposed deal and began demanding monetary payments. At the same time, the city administration stated that there would be no monetary compensation. The municipality filed lawsuits in an attempt to contest the citizens' property rights, but soon the city administration decided to withdraw the lawsuits.
