Three more underground crossings will be built in Bishkek on Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue
Three underground crossings are planned to be built in Bishkek on Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue. This was announced by Vice Mayor Ramiz Aliyev during a meeting of the permanent commission of the Bishkek City Council dedicated to issues of housing and communal services and ecology.

One of the crossings will be located at the intersection of Chingiz Aitmatov Avenue and Y. Abdrakhmanov Street, near the state residence "Yntymak Ordo." The locations of the other two crossings have not yet been disclosed.

It is worth noting that earlier the city authorities had already approved the project for an overpass and began installing structures, but later changed their decision and dismantled what had been built.

As a result of the reconstruction of the avenue, all above-ground pedestrian crossings were removed. Residents of nearby neighborhoods, such as "Kyrgyzstan-1," have repeatedly requested the return of safe crossings for pedestrians.
