According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs press service, from November 25 to 27, 2025, there will be temporary restrictions on vehicle movement in Bishkek and the Chui region. This is related to the upcoming session of the CSTO Security Council.
The restrictions will affect the main routes that delegations will use. To reduce traffic load during this period, educational institutions, including schools and universities, will switch to online learning formats.
The list of streets and roads subject to restrictions includes:
– the highway from Manas International Airport to the border of Bishkek;
– Fuchik Street from the city border to Chui Avenue;
– Chui Avenue from Fuchik to Manas Avenue;
– Manas and Ch. Aitmatov Avenues to the "Ala-Archa" residence;
– certain sections of J. Abdrakhmanov, S. Ibraimov, and M. Frunze Streets.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs strongly recommends that drivers avoid leaving their vehicles on the shoulders of the specified roads, refrain from using heavy vehicles unless necessary, and follow the instructions of traffic police officers.
Citizens are advised to take these temporary restrictions into account when planning their routes, as road closures will be in effect during the passage of motorcades.
