The opening of new industrial and social facilities, including this road, took place online during the IV People's Kurultai, which is being held with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov.
The village of Zardaly is located in the mountains of the Batken district, 110 kilometers away from the central area. Access to this settlement is possible via two routes — a road and a footpath. In winter, from October to May, traffic on some sections of the route was completely halted due to heavy snowfall. Residents had to traverse 6.2 kilometers along the Kozheshken River on foot or on horseback.
By the president's directive, the length of the road from the village of Sary-Talaa to the Kyzyl-Tash area was increased to 11 kilometers, and the width was expanded to 6 meters. A new section of 7 kilometers was also constructed from Kyzyl-Tash to Zardaly. In addition, a 30-meter metal bridge was built over the Kozheshken River, ensuring full automobile access.
According to the project, the new road reduces the distance by 26 kilometers and ensures year-round vehicle movement, as snow does not accumulate on this section.
The total length of the Sary-Talaa–Kyzyl-Tash–Zardaly road is 18 kilometers, and the total cost of its construction is 888.9 million soms.

As previously reported, on September 29, 2024, President Sadyr Japarov, during a meeting with the residents of Zardaly, ordered the commencement of road construction in 2025, as well as the need to supply the village with electricity and build a small hydroelectric power station.
It was also previously reported that the construction of the Sary-Talaa–Kyzyl-Tash–Zardaly road has begun.
The length of this road is 17.5 kilometers.
The Ministry of Transport noted that the road is being constructed in accordance with the outcomes of President Sadyr Japarov's meeting with the residents of Zardaly in September 2024.
In November 2024, the Ministry of Transport and Communications announced a tender for the construction of the Kyzyl-Tash–Zardaly road at a cost of 389.2 million soms.
