The road from Sary-Talaa to Zardaly, construction of which began last year, was opened for vehicular traffic on December 20, 2025. Local residents have already started using the route.

According to information from DEP No. 2, the new road is 8 kilometers long. Previously, residents had to walk along mountain trails, but now they have a full-fledged automobile road.

A 30-meter long and 8-meter high bridge has also been built over the Khozhoshken River, and there is an additional separate pedestrian bridge next to it.

Currently, work is ongoing to widen the roadway and lay gravel.

The village of Zardaly is located in the Batken district and is part of the rural district of Kara-Bak. It is situated on the left bank of the Sokh River, approximately 43 kilometers south-southeast of the city of Batken, the administrative center of the region and district.

Zardaly is one of the highest and most inaccessible villages in Kyrgyzstan, having received village status on April 21, 2016.

The population of the village is about 300–400 people. The region is characterized by a harsh climate, and in winter, the village often finds itself cut off from the outside world. Previously, local residents traveled on foot and horseback along difficult mountain trails, facing challenges in delivering essential food and medications. In emergencies, help often arrived with delays.
