The opening of the road Üch-Korgon—Daroot-Korgon, connecting the Kadamjay and Chon-Alai districts, has become an important event.

According to information from the Kadamjay district road maintenance enterprise No. 45, road transport can now freely move along this road.

The Üch-Korgon—Daroot-Korgon road, with a total length of 117 kilometers, belongs to category 4. Of these, 67 kilometers are located in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region, where 22 kilometers have asphalt concrete pavement, 10 kilometers are gravel, and 35 kilometers remain unpaved.

The road passes through the villages of Üch-Korgon, Alysh, Kara-Zhyjach, Maidan, Karoool, and Austam. Repair work began in 2022 on a section 32 kilometers long. Since 2022, 35 kilometers of the road have been widened and two new bridges have been built.
Previously, Turmush reported on the construction progress of a new bridge on the 67th kilometer of the road that connects the Kadamjay and Chon-Alai districts. The bridge will be able to withstand loads of up to 40 tons, ensuring the free movement of vehicles and aiding in the clearing of landslides that obstruct traffic on the road.

According to road services, it will take 20 to 30 days to eliminate the landslides. After that, the road will be ready for full use.
The first part of the road (from 0 to 67 kilometers) is located in the Kadamjay district of the Batken region, while the remaining 50 kilometers are situated in the Chon-Alai district of the Osh region.

Currently, the only way to get from the Kadamjay district to Chon-Alai is through the city of Osh, which is 350 km.
