The road to the remote village of Zardaly is ready: opening expected in the coming days

The highway connecting Sary-Talaa, Kyzyl-Tash, and Zardaly in the Batken region is nearing completion. According to the Ministry of Transport and Communications, its opening is planned for the coming days.

The length of the new road is 17.5 kilometers. The work on widening and leveling the roadway has been completed, and the metal bridge structure, which is 30 meters long, is 95 percent ready.




During his visit on September 29, 2024, the President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadyr Japarov, stated that in 2025, a road will be built in Zardaly, along with projects for electrification and the construction of a small hydroelectric power station.

Zardaly is one of the highest and most remote villages in the Batken region.
