Air pollution in Bishkek. The capital of Kyrgyzstan has risen to second place in the ranking
According to World Air Quality data, Bishkek has been ranked among the most polluted cities in the world for the second consecutive day. As of the morning of January 15, the capital of Kyrgyzstan was in second place in this ranking.
The air quality in the city is rated as "very harmful," with the Air Quality Index (AQI) reaching 214. In the area of Moscow Street and Erkindik Boulevard, this figure rose to 286.
Air pollution data is updated in real-time.
The AQI is divided into six categories that indicate the level of health hazard. A value above 300 indicates hazardous conditions, while values below 50 are considered good.
