The Bishkek city hall reported that on January 20, the supply of drinking water will be suspended in some areas of the city. The shutdown is scheduled from 09:00 to 02:00 the next day.

The streets included in the shutdown zone are: Ch. Aitmatov Ave., Abdrahmanov St., Bakayev St., Masaliev Ave., Toktonaliev St., Ata Turk Park, Akhunbaev St., Alamedin River, YUBCHK, B. Baatyra St., Ala Archa River, and Semetei St.
The reason for the shutdown is the installation of valves on a 600 mm diameter pipeline, as well as the installation of a 400 mm diameter bypass and the relocation of a 600 mm diameter water pipeline from the territory on Rysmendiev St. 1/1.
