On January 17 and 18, control tests for referees were held in Kyrgyzstan. For referees from the southern regions, the testing took place in Osh, while for northern referees it was conducted in Bishkek. A total of 136 referees and their assistants participated in the event.
The physical condition of the referees was assessed using the YO-YO fitness test, which has been approved by FIFA and AFC and is widely used on the international stage. According to FIFA standards, the benchmark for main referees is set at 18.4, while for assistants it is 17.6.
The YO-YO test allows for an objective measurement of the referees' endurance, their ability to handle high-intensity loads, and overall match readiness. The results of this testing will be taken into account when compiling lists of referees for upcoming competitions and training camps, as well as for monitoring their physical preparation throughout the season.
As a result of the tests, a database of the current physical condition of the referees was created, and a list of candidates for future training events was compiled.
