
From the last week of January, running from January 26 to February 1, viewers can expect many new series. In the coming days, projects from the Marvel Cinematic Universe, new episodes of the hit "Bridgertons," thrilling British thrillers, and long-awaited sequels to popular films will hit the screens.
"Wonder Man," fantasy, premiere (January 27)
The plot of the series unfolds in the well-known Marvel Cinematic Universe, where the main character Simon Williams, known as Wonder Man, finds himself at the center of events. The son of a wealthy industrialist, he faces business problems due to competition with Tony Stark. Ultimately, he accepts an offer from the villain Baron Zemo, which grants him super strength and resilience. Wonder Man becomes part of the Avengers team...
"The Vanished," thriller, premiere (February 1)
Alice (Kaley Cuoco) and Tom (Sam Claflin) embark on a romantic trip through France, but their vacation turns into a real nightmare. When Tom disappears without a trace from the train, Alice begins her search and soon finds herself embroiled in a dangerous conspiracy that reveals shocking secrets about her husband. Directed by Barnaby Thompson, who co-wrote the script with his son Preston. This duo has already made a name for themselves in the crime comedy "Popados," but in this new project, they decided to focus on the dark atmosphere of a thriller.
"Under the Salt Marsh," thriller, premiere (January 30)
Jackie Ellis (Kelly Reilly), a former detective, now teaches children in a small coastal town in Wales. However, her quiet life changes when she discovers the body of her student in the salt marshes. This tragedy forces her to revisit an old case of her niece Nessy's (Amara Atwal) disappearance as a powerful storm approaches the town. Filming took place in picturesque yet harsh locations in North Wales, including Anglesey Island.
"School Spirits," fantasy, third season (January 26)
The series is based on the work of Nate and Megan Trinrud and Maria Nguyen. The main character, teenager Maddy Niers, finds herself in the afterlife and decides to uncover the circumstances of her mysterious death along with other students who are also stuck in this state. She delves into the investigation while trying to adapt to high school in the afterlife, and with each step, she uncovers more secrets.
"Bridgertons," melodrama, fourth season (January 29)
This multi-part project in the style of historical drama is based on a literary source. The action takes place in the not-so-distant past in London. The plot centers around eight siblings from the Bridgerton family, each striving to build their life in high society while facing initial difficulties and adult problems. Their path to first love is not always successful.
"The Dungeon," drama, premiere (January 26)
The main character, Haidar Ali (Deniz Can Aktaş), seeks revenge for his family and ends up in a prison controlled by a dangerous cartel. Three years later, he learns that his beloved Jaylan (Devrim Özkan) has married his friend (Uraz Kaygılaroğlu). Now, Haidar faces a choice between loyalty and true love in the world of Turkish crime. Screenwriters Raji Shashmaz and Bahadır Özden, creators of the well-known "Valley of Wolves," in collaboration with Soner Yalçın, will provide viewers with an exciting plot and tense moments.
"Children of Change," drama, second season (February 29)
This crime series, filled with irony and dark humor, tells the story of three brothers from different fathers. Their mother, trolleybus driver Flora, tries to unite her sons into a loving family. However, the year 1995 brings with it an atmosphere of quick profits, underground clubs, and brutal showdowns. Each son has his own secrets and friends, and against the backdrop of the city's decline, Flora's family begins to fall apart.
"Therapy," comedy, third season (January 28)
The plot centers around an unusual psychotherapist who, having experienced his own sorrows, begins to step outside professional ethics. He starts giving clients advice on how to behave in various situations and shares his opinions, leading to unexpected reactions from patients.
"The Rise of the 49ers," documentary, premiere (February 1)
Director Bill Walsh takes an underdog team and leads them to five Super Bowl championships. Using rare archival footage and interviews with players Joe Montana and Steve Young, the film explores the era of the club's dominance. The narrator of the project is Tom Brady.
