In the Issyk-Kul region, in the village of Kyzyl-Suu, a three-day seminar was held dedicated to the development of economically justified tariffs for water supply services, financial planning, and interaction with subscribers.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture, employees of municipal enterprises, local council deputies, representatives of the ayil okmotu, as well as activists and residents of the village participated in the training.
Participants familiarized themselves with the legislation of Kyrgyzstan in the field of water supply, learned about tariff calculation methods and financial planning, as well as the cost of services and billing systems.
As part of the practical portion of the seminar, group sessions were held where participants calculated tariffs using Excel, analyzed real cases, and presented the results of their work. As an example of successful practice, the work of the municipal enterprise "Kyrgyz Ata Bulagy" from the Nookat district of the Osh region was demonstrated.
In addition, approaches to working with subscribers, conducting information campaigns, and the stages of tariff approval were discussed. Upon completion of the training, participants noted the high practical value of the knowledge gained and expressed their readiness to apply it in their professional activities.
