According to Ruslan Talantbek uulu, the head of the village council, there were previously 9 villages in the rural area of Myrza-Ake. As part of the administrative-territorial reform, after the merger of two rural areas, the local council proposed to create a general plan.
The general plan, costing 14.5 million soms, represents a strategy up to 2050. It is based on plans from 1970, including water supply and sewage systems. The project details plans for each village.
Today, 16,000 people live in the central part of the rural area of Myrza-Ake, while the general plan is designed for 30,000. It also includes 9 villages, which corresponds to population growth forecasts for the next 25 years. Important facilities such as hospitals, recreation areas, kindergartens, schools, and roads are included. The general plan was preliminarily reviewed by the urban planning council with the participation of leaders and specialists from all institutions in the Uzgen district and is now being brought to public hearings,” noted the head of the village council.
