For Kyrgyz citizens working abroad, the transition to a single tax has been extended

The State Tax Service of the Kyrgyz Republic (STS KR) has announced the extension of the deadline for submitting applications to transition to a single tax for those conducting their activities outside the country. Taxpayers can now submit documents until March 1, 2026.

According to current legislation, starting from January 1, 2026, taxpayers working outside the Kyrgyz Republic are required to switch to a simplified taxation system with a single tax rate of 0.1%.

The initial deadline for submitting applications to transition to this system was set until February 1, 2026. However, considering numerous requests from taxpayers, it has been extended to March 1.

The STS urges all interested taxpayers to contact local tax authorities to submit an application for transitioning to the special tax regime using the single tax.
