On February 5, 2026, the government of the Kyrgyz Republic approved resolution No. 60, which made amendments to the previously effective document — resolution No. 390 dated July 1, 2013. These changes pertain to the "Regulations on Registration Trials and State Registration of Pesticides and Agrochemicals."

The key objective of the new document is the transition to digital technologies in the process of registering pesticides and agrochemicals. In accordance with the Concept of Digital Transformation, which covers the period from 2024 to 2028, a mechanism for submitting applications and necessary documents in electronic format will be implemented, making administrative procedures more transparent.

The electronic registration system will ensure accessibility, transparency, and the ability to track all stages of the registration and expertise process. It will also create a unified electronic database of registered pesticides and agrochemicals, significantly reducing administrative barriers for both applicants and government agencies.

Furthermore, the amendments will help strengthen control over the use of pesticides and agrochemicals, which, in turn, will enhance the protection of public health and the environment. This also promotes the implementation of principles of openness and transparency in the registration process.
