A unified policy regarding livestock markets will be implemented in the Chui region. This was stated by the authorized representative of the president in the region, Azamat Osmonov, at a regional meeting.

He noted that it is planned to streamline the activities of private livestock markets, and if entrepreneurs are unable to ensure their proper functioning, municipal livestock markets will be established.

"For example, in the Kemin district, the construction of a new livestock market is already underway. In the Chui district, a temporary market was organized in just 10 days, which meets all necessary conditions. At the same time, the previous livestock market in Tokmok was in a very dilapidated state. I also visited the municipal market in the Sokuluk district, and the situation there is not ideal either. The accounting of livestock movement and veterinary control leaves much to be desired, and the tariffs are unclear. All this requires streamlining and the introduction of cashless payments," Osmonov added.

It was also reported that livestock markets that do not meet established standards will be closed. Veterinary and sanitary control will become mandatory, and the movement of livestock in markets must be strictly accounted for.

"Previously, private livestock markets continued to operate despite non-compliance with veterinary, sanitary, and environmental standards. I consider this as negligence, which in turn may be a form of corruption expressed in inaction," he emphasized.

In addition, there will be a phased digitalization of parking areas around livestock and trading markets with the introduction of QR codes and automated cashless payment systems.

It is worth noting that at the end of last year, the private livestock market in Tokmok was closed due to non-compliance with veterinary, sanitary, and environmental requirements. A temporary livestock market was organized in the village of Vinogradnoe in the Chui district for convenience.

Also, during the meeting, the akim of the Kemin district, Kutpidin Shakirov, reported that the completion of the construction of a modern livestock market in the Chym-Korgon ayil okmotu is planned in the shortest possible time and it will be put into operation.
