During the inspection, it was established that the market does not meet sanitary, veterinary, and infrastructure standards, making it impossible to properly maintain and sell agricultural animals.
Particular attention was drawn to the unsatisfactory sanitary condition of the area, the lack of necessary conditions to comply with veterinary norms, as well as the shortage of basic sanitary and household amenities and drainage and wastewater systems. These deficiencies pose a threat to the health of both animals and humans.
Despite the fact that the market operates on a commercial basis, no measures have been taken to modernize the infrastructure and bring the facility in line with current requirements.
Osmonov also familiarized himself with another plot of land designated for the construction of a new livestock market. Plans and a project aimed at creating a modern market that will meet all sanitary, veterinary, and technical requirements have already been developed. While construction is underway, a temporary trading area with minimal conditions and veterinary control will be organized on this site.
The existing livestock market will continue its operations until the new facility is completed, in order to avoid disruptions and ensure a smooth transition to a modern format.
