Without a veterinary certificate, entry to the livestock market is prohibited - State Veterinary Inspection

The State Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance under the Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry of the Kyrgyz Republic is conducting active raids and informational work at livestock markets and large agricultural enterprises. Specialists emphasize that bringing animals to the market without a veterinary certificate is unacceptable, as it significantly increases the risk of spreading infections.

Livestock markets are known as one of the main centers for the spread of diseases among animals. To obtain a veterinary certificate, cattle must be marked with an ear tag, and horses must have a mandatory chip implanted in their bodies. Animals without the appropriate documents will not be allowed into the market.

Failure to comply with these requirements will result in administrative fines: 5,500 soms for individuals and 17,500 soms for legal entities. Drivers involved in the transportation of livestock are also warned: the transportation and import of animals without veterinary documents is strictly prohibited. Violators will be held accountable.

The State Veterinary Inspection urges citizens to comply with veterinary standards to prevent the spread of dangerous diseases among animals.
