In the village of Vinogradnoe, the first livestock market has opened, where animals are available for sale.

According to traders, “the trading areas for horses, cattle, and sheep are designated separately. Trucks continue to come here as before, bringing livestock from farmers at the market in Tokmok. Small entrepreneurs engaged in selling food products are setting up their yurts.”

At this time, the presidential envoy of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Chui region, Azamat Osmonov, inspected the construction progress of the new livestock market in Vinogradnoe, as reported by the press service of the Turmush representation.

Construction work is ongoing at the site, including the laying of gravel and landscaping. As part of his working trip, Osmonov met with local farmers to discuss the organization of trade and working conditions at the new market. Previously, a private livestock market operated in Tokmok, which was closed due to violations of sanitary and veterinary standards. Therefore, this market is seen as a temporary alternative, allowing citizens to trade livestock without hindrance. It is also noted that this market is a pilot project, and its operation will be monitored for three months. Based on the monitoring results, a decision will be made regarding the possibility of further development and the implementation of similar markets on a permanent basis,” the statement said.

The livestock market is located at an elevation above the village of Vinogradnoe and covers an area of 5 hectares.

There are two main access roads leading to it:

— from the Bishkek–Naryn–Torugart highway with a turn onto Parkovaya and Dunlarova streets;

— via the internal roads of the city of Tokmok towards the village of Saylyk.
