In the Naryn region, there continues to be a monitoring of road traffic accidents related to livestock entering the roads.

This information was provided by representatives of the Road Traffic Safety Department under the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Naryn region.

According to their data, such situations most frequently occur on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway.

To reduce the number of traffic accidents and minimize financial losses, inspectors have begun attaching reflective strips to the necks and tails of cattle and horses that are in the region.

These strips make the animals more visible to drivers at night, which helps prevent accidents and increases road safety. Residents of the Naryn region and livestock owners are encouraged to support this initiative and actively participate in similar events.

Animal owners are reminded that leaving livestock unattended during the day and evening is unacceptable, and they should not be released into pastures without supervision; it is necessary to use reflective strips and especially keep livestock in enclosures during the evening to avoid them being close to the roadway.
