In the village of Belovodskoye, located in the Moscow district of the Chuy region, the livestock market closed on December 28, as reported by Turmush correspondent. Traditionally, livestock trading took place here every Sunday.

The reasons for the market's closure were announced by the Ayil Okmotu of Narzan. Authorities noted that the market at Lomonosova Street, 1, does not meet veterinary and sanitary standards. According to the resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 18, 2015, No. 377, the activities of this market, as well as the sale of agricultural animals in the adjacent area, are now prohibited.

A corresponding notice was posted at the market entrance; however, local residents continued to trade livestock in an unauthorized location. At the unofficial market, a two-year-old breeding ram was seen being sold for 80,000 soms, sheep for 20,000–25,000 soms, lambs for 15,000 soms, and goats for 10,000 soms. Winter feed was also offered: a bale of pure alfalfa was sold for 450 soms, straw for 200 soms, and a bale of silage weighing 70–75 kilograms was priced from 650 to 700 soms.
