In the village of Khunchi, located in the Aiyl Aimak of Ak-Kuduk in the Issyk-Ata District of the Chui Region, a major repair of the asphalt concrete pavement on Gagarin Street is required, with a cost of 8 million 520 thousand soms.

The Ak-Kuduk Aiyl Okmotu administration has submitted a request for funding through shared (incentive) grants.

According to the "Open Budget" portal, it is planned to allocate 3 million 520 thousand soms from the local budget for 2026, which constitutes 41.3% of the total amount, while 5 million soms will be needed for shared grants.

Description of the problem:

The road on Gagarin Street in the village of Khunchi is in an emergency state, posing a threat to the life and health of residents, including children, with a total population of about 575 people. The road is severely damaged, with cracks and deep potholes. In summer, it turns into a dusty field, and in rainy autumn and spring, it becomes a muddy surface, making movement difficult during heavy precipitation and high temperatures.

The village of Khunchi is located in the northern part of the central Chui region, on the left bank of the Chu River, near the state border with Kazakhstan, approximately 8 kilometers from the city of Kant, which is the administrative center of the district.

According to the National Statistical Committee, as of the beginning of 2023, the population of the village exceeds five hundred people.
