In the village of Aral-Sai in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, it is planned to allocate 3 million 121 thousand 513 soms for the capital repair of Namuna Street.

The leadership of the Barpy rural administration has submitted an application for funding from shared (stimulating) grants.

According to the "Open Budget" portal, the amount of own funds is provided in the amount of 721 thousand 513 soms from the local budget for 2026, while the need for shared (stimulating) grants is 2 million 400 thousand soms.

Problem description:

The roads in the village of Aral-Sai are covered with gravel or dirt, which causes serious problems for movement during rainy and hot periods. This has primarily become an issue for children who walk to school. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out a capital repair of a section of Namuna Street, which is 535 meters long in this village. Pedestrians and passenger transport have been waiting for a solution to this problem for several years. If the internal roads of the village of Aral-Sai are repaired according to road standards, there will be no dust in spring and summer, and in autumn and winter, there will be no puddles or potholes due to precipitation. As a result of the implementation of this project, the movement conditions for more than 800 people living in the village will improve. The issue of asphalt paving has not been resolved for many years.

In early November 2025, Turmush reported that in the rural districts of Barpy and Atabekov in the Suzak district of the Jalal-Abad region, many farmers are planting carrots as one of the alternative crops after harvesting the first crop.

A resident of the village of Aral-Sai, Shukhratbek Teshabaev, has been harvesting two crops from a plot of 40 acres for many years. He grows carrots among other crops. "Usually, we first plant potatoes, and then for the second crop — carrots. This has become a tradition for us. Even if the price is low, we still grow them, we are used to it. This year, carrots turned out to be expensive. Our fellow villagers sold them for 50 soms per kilogram. Now the price is around 25–26 soms — which is also not bad. Last year, we sold them for 13–14 soms. So this year, farmers received a good price. Last year, the rains interfered, and harvesting was difficult, but this autumn the weather is good, and it was easy to work. Today we are already harvesting from the last rows," he said.

The farmer collected more than 10 tons of carrots. According to him, the process of growing also requires effort — it is necessary to water, weed, and ensure that the carrots are juicy on time. If you manage to grow tasty carrots, there are no problems with sales, and buyers are satisfied. The choice of quality seeds is also of great importance.

Overall, in the Suzak district this year, carrots were planted on about 500 hectares, and the total volume of the harvested crop amounted to about 135 thousand 662 tons.
