Residents of the city expressed dissatisfaction that the repairs to the roadway and sidewalks remain unfinished, resulting in the pedestrian area being in poor condition. Following an inspection, Osmonov instructed the mayor of Kant to promptly complete the restoration of the pedestrian zone and fully finish the repair work.
During his working trip along the highway, Osmonov also discovered that coal is being unloaded by individuals in prohibited areas, leading to the formation of mud and slush in the surrounding territory.
At the scene, he instructed the akim of the Issyk-Ata district to take measures to restore order and eliminate the consequences. Osmonov noted that unloading coal in close proximity to the highway during warm weather contributes to the transfer of dirt and coal dust onto the roadway, which pollutes the roads.
Additionally, he warned of the risk of ice formation and coal lumps in the winter period, which can lead to tire damage and increase the likelihood of traffic accidents, compromising road safety. He also pointed out that such actions harm the environment by polluting the air and soil, as well as violating the rules for the improvement and operation of highways.
