“The condition of the territory leaves much to be desired: sanitary standards are not observed, there are no conditions for veterinary control, and drainage and water diversion systems are absent. These problems pose a threat to the health of both animals and people,” the official statement said.
The market operates on a commercial basis, but necessary steps for modernizing its infrastructure have not yet been taken.
As part of his trip, the representative also familiarized himself with a new land plot that will be used for the construction of a new livestock market. A project has already been developed for this area, which provides for the creation of a modern market that meets all necessary sanitary and veterinary standards.
To ensure uninterrupted operation and convenience for farmers, A. Osmonov instructed to organize a temporary trading area within two to three weeks, providing minimal conditions and veterinary control. At the same time, construction work will begin on this site to create a new livestock market in accordance with the approved project.
The existing market will continue its operations until the completion of the new facility's construction to avoid disruptions and ensure a smooth transition to a modern format.
“The measures taken will create safe and proper conditions for farmers and animals, as well as gradually bring the activities of livestock markets in the Jayil district in line with current requirements,” emphasized the representative's office.
