The emergency apartment buildings are located in the town of Orlovka at the address of microdistrict "Metallurg," building No. 8, and on Chkalov Street, building No. 61. Previously, they were under the management of the Kyrgyz Chemical and Metallurgical Plant (KHMZ). Apartments in these buildings were previously provided to factory workers; however, most of them subsequently emigrated to other countries, and their current whereabouts are unknown. Essentially, these apartments are not being used and cannot be inhabited.
Local residents have repeatedly appealed to the authorities and relevant agencies with requests to eliminate hazardous objects. They complained that the territory of the houses contains the corpses of various animals, an unpleasant odor is spreading, and the area poses a serious threat to children who play nearby.
Earlier, the city administration of Orlovka prepared cost estimates for the demolition of the buildings totaling 14 million soms.
The presidential representative in the Chui region instructed the mayor of Orlovka to prepare all necessary documents and submit them to the development fund of the Chui region for the demolition of the emergency houses, in order to ensure the safety of residents, protect public health, and prevent possible emergencies.
Earlier, Turmush wrote that in the town of Orlovka, Kemin district of the Chui region, a multi-story residential building that could collapse at any moment was cordoned off with warning tape.
According to the state district administration, this concerned the emergency residential building No. 8 in the microdistrict "Metallurg."
Previously, the mayor of Orlovka, Baktybek Chancharov, stated that the documentation for the subsequent demolition of the emergency house was being processed.
In this regard, a decision was made to cordon off the object with warning tape before the demolition work begins. Measures have been taken to ensure the safety of citizens' lives.
Additionally, according to the akimat, an iron fence is planned to be installed around the perimeter of the house. A tender was announced earlier, and the results will be summarized next Friday.
