The visit of the presidential envoy in the Chui region, Azamat Osmonov, took place in the city of Kant.
According to the press service, local residents expressed dissatisfaction that the road and sidewalk repair work had not been completed. Following the visit, Osmonov instructed the mayor of Kant to expedite the completion of repairs and restore pedestrian areas.
Additionally, during the inspection, other violations were identified. For example, private companies are unloading coal in prohibited areas, which leads to the spread of black dust on the roads.
“Such actions negatively affect the environmental situation, lead to soil and air pollution, worsen sanitary conditions, and violate regulations concerning landscaping and road maintenance,” the press service's statement noted.
The city administration was also instructed to address the identified violations.
