According to information from the agency, on December 28, 2025, the livestock market in the village of Belovodskoye was closed as it did not meet sanitary and veterinary standards.
Belovodskoye, which is the district center, has always attracted residents on Sundays for livestock trading.
“The district authorities are actively conducting explanatory work with the population, both on social networks and verbally. A raid was planned for today, during which informational leaflets were distributed and explanatory conversations were held. Part of the livestock brought by residents to the market was sent to the Sokuluk district livestock market using free transportation organized by local authorities. The temporary livestock market in the Moscow district will no longer operate,” the akimat reported.
At the moment, the livestock market is empty, with neither sellers nor buyers present.
Earlier, Turmush reported that on December 28, 2025, the livestock market in the village of Belovodskoye was closed due to non-compliance with sanitary and veterinary requirements.
The reasons for the market's closure were explained by the Ayil Okmotu of Narzan as follows:
“The livestock market located at: village of Belovodskoye, Lomonosov Street, 1, does not meet veterinary and sanitary standards. Based on the resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated June 18, 2015, No. 377, the activities of this livestock market and the sale of agricultural animals in the adjacent territory are hereby prohibited.”
A notice regarding the relevant decision was posted at the entrance to the market, which was explained to the citizens.
