In the Moscow district of the Chuy region, on the International Anti-Corruption Day, employees of the district prosecutor's office held a meeting with students, the district prosecutor's office reported.

According to the agency, the event took place in the prosecutor's office building. Students from the Kyrgyz-Russian Professional Lyceum No. 28, located in the village of Belovodskoye, participated in it. The district prosecutor's office was the initiator of the meeting.

The event was conducted to implement the "State Strategy for Combating Corruption in Kyrgyzstan for 2025–2030," approved by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on June 5, 2024, as well as the "Action Plan for the Implementation of the State Strategy Against Corruption," adopted in the same year. These documents aim to strengthen the fight against corruption in all regions of the country and raise public awareness.

One of the activities carried out within the framework of the strategy was the meeting with students of the Kyrgyz-Russian Professional Lyceum No. 28, organized by the district prosecutor's office to promote anti-corruption policies among youth for the period of 2025–2030.

During the meeting, employees of the Moscow district prosecutor's office informed the students about the main directions of the state anti-corruption strategy, the harm of corruption to society, the measures being taken to prevent it, and emphasized the importance of each citizen's participation in the fight against corruption. The students asked questions of interest to them and shared their own opinions on the topic.

In addition, participants were given informational brochures in state and official languages, containing information on corruption prevention, necessary measures, and recommendations for citizens.

The main goal of the event organized by the district prosecutor's office is to engage the public in the fight against corruption, increase knowledge about ways to prevent it, and foster an anti-corruption culture. The participation of students is an important step towards strengthening efforts to combat corruption and a call for joint work between society and government bodies.
