The city of Osh held public hearings where the budget project for 2026 was presented. This was reported by the press service of the city administration.
The chairman of the parliamentary commission on budget, economy, and industry, Kushbak Shaiev, presented the details of the budget, which will amount to 5 billion 205 million 536 thousand 400 soms. This is 1 billion 780 million 222 thousand 600 soms more than in 2025.
During the discussions, residents proposed a number of initiatives related to social support, infrastructure improvement, public transport operations, electricity supply, road repairs, and environmental issues.
Important figures attended the hearings, including the chairman of the city council, Bolot Bayetov, the first deputy mayor, Omurbek Torobaev, deputies, representatives of municipal services, public organizations, and local residents.
