On March 1, the head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Urmatbek Shamyrkanov, together with the akim of the Ak-Tal district, Mirlan Kamchybekov, and local authorities, conducted an inspection of hazardous areas along the Naryn River, which flows through this district. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
During the inspection, areas that pose a threat to local residents and agricultural lands were examined. The agency noted that necessary measures will be taken in the future.
It should be reminded that the issue of the need to strengthen the riverbed of the Naryn River and protect settlements in the Togolok Moldo rural district was raised at the IV People's Kurultai with the participation of President Sadyr Japarov last year.
