On March 11, a ceremony was held in Karakol, located in the Issyk-Kul region, to introduce the new mayor of the city — Talantbek Imankulov.
According to the city hall, the authorized representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, Bakytbek Zhetigenov, delivered a speech in which he announced the decree of President Sadyr Japarov appointing the new mayor.
Among those present at the event were the chairman of the Karakol City Council, Sanzhar Tashtanbekov, and city council deputies, who congratulated Imankulov on his new appointment and expressed their wishes for success in his work. The event also summarized the work of the former mayor, Kanybek Adiev, to whom the participants expressed their gratitude for his contribution to the city's development.
