According to information provided by a Turmush correspondent, the event was attended by the Deputy Mayor of Osh, the head of the city police department, Kazy Samidin Atabaev, as well as drivers engaged in passenger transportation, schoolchildren, and students.
The event was organized by the Main Department for Ensuring Road Safety of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It was reported that 2,500 copies of brochures were prepared, which will be distributed to both drivers and pedestrians. The aim of the campaign is to increase compliance with traffic rules and to prevent road traffic accidents.
